I’m on my way. This was again an early start in the day. No bus that fits the flight on a Saturday so I had to order a taxi. With some luggage I want to take with me, this is maybe a smart thing to do.

Some delay at security because of the 500 cables and other stuff that I didn’t take out (I already had 5 boxes for camera etc.).

One good thing with small airports is, that you can arrive late and don’t have to wait for the boarding a long time. My flight today i of course SAS in economy (domestic eco+ is not worth the money).

The flight was a little bit more turbulent than normally, but a good audio-book and a nice cup of coffee from friendly pursers are a good start in the day. Only 40 minutes and you land in Oslo.

Leaving from Oslo tomorrow, I have some time to kill before I check in to my hotel. Got an invitation from a colleague to a photo exhibition. But before that I had breakfast with a friend in Oslo and rented a CityBike to take some geocaches I didn’t find earlier. Very nice to get around and the weather is great. Some good finds and some nice pictures in the gallery later it is time to get some food and get to my hotel.

NSB back to Gardermoen and then buying some shares of the bus company (nearly same price to the hotel as it costs to get to Oslo) to get to Thon Hotel Gardermoen. A nice hotel, nothing luxurious but modern, big rooms and very affordable. 535 NOK for a night is nothing in Oslo (especially at the airport).

The afternoon will pass with some travel literature, Netflix and TV. I am on holidays and I will take it easy (until now^^). Tomorrow I will start the long part of the journey.
