I am going to Stockholm around Easter and I thought about what to do in Stockholm. I have been there so many times and I like to do new stuff combined with known. One day of activity followed by a day of rest and doing little.

First I thought about a day trip either to Åland or to Visby on the island of Gotland. But Skyscanner revealed another possibility – Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. I thought the price of 457 Norwegian kroner couldn’t be right for a return ticket – but it was. No hidden fees. But the homepage offering the deal Ticket.no is said to be trustworthy. And the risk is 50 Euro. No luggage allowance, but I don’t need it for a day trip.

Booked it. Arriving at 11:00 in Vilnius and leaving 17:30 back to Stockholm. Enough time to take a walking tour. The airport is only 10 minutes from the city center an without any luggage other than my camera bag that should work out just fine.

Call me crazy, but I like crazy stuff and I have never been there. Last country at the Baltic sea I haven’t visited. Check. 🙂
