Time to leave for Oslo. Last breakfast with my parents before I have to get to CDG. It started raining. I hav no wish to get my luggage to the Metro and then on the Metro and then changing trains to get to the airport. There is only one option – to take an Uber to the airport.

The price is around 50 Euro. That is a lot, but on the other hand not that much compared to what I pay in Norway. But before I order I have to go to the public road, where it is possible to pick me up. It is easier said than done. Uber is expensive and the driver did not take the tour. Then I went on Bolt, which is my go to app in Europe, and try it there. Got the tour for 35 Euro after one cancellation. Now it is only important to survive the French driving on the motorway.

The trip of 39 km took 52 minutes. The driver did not want to pay the fee for stopping at the airport, so he let me out under a bridge close to the entrance. Good enough for me. Saved me a lot of running around with my luggage.

Had to wait some time because I was to early. Waiting with a coffee and a croissant until it is time to check in. CDG is a terrible airport (the old terminal at least). Normal flight to Oslo.

From Oslo Gardermoen it is bus time to the Quality Airport Hotel Gardermoen. This is not my last day of the trip. Tomorrow I have booked a tour to Dublin. I cannot go home on a Thursday and leave out the weekend while traveling. The plan is to get up early and go to Dublin via Amsterdam with KLM. I will leave my luggage in storage at the hotel and come back on Saturday.

Upgraded room as always. I know the spacious room. Dinner at McD which is just a few minutes walk away. The evening is spent with watching videos, until I get a message and then a call from KLM. My flight is cancelled and I am rebooked on the direct SAS flight to Dublin. In a way a shame, I like KLM, but on the other hand I can sleep longer and am in Dublin only an hour later than planned. And nice that they call.

So looking forward to my trip tomorrow.
